[Academic & Student Memberships](https://help.vetgirlontherun.com/knowledge/membership?hsLang=en#academic-student-memberships) # How to reapply for the free academic/faculty ELITE membership? ## To ensure the sustainability of our membership offerings, VETgirl requires annual proof of full-time employment to maintain complimentary ELITE access. #### **👉 Before you start:** - Check out the article "[What proof is required for the free Academic/Faculty ELITE Membership?](https://help.vetgirlontherun.com/knowledge/what-proof-is-required-for-the-free-academic/faculty-elite-membership?hsLang=en)" for details on what you’ll need to provide when you apply. - If the Upgrade option is **not** listed on the [Membership page](https://vetgirlontherun.com/dashboard/account/my-membership/?hsLang=en), you'll need to wait for your current subscription to expire before reapplying. This will enable the complimentary membership application. Selecting “Veterinary Technician/Nurse” instead will only show the discounted membership and require payment.   You will be prompted to upload documents for verification on the next page: ![](https://help.vetgirlontherun.com/hs-fs/hubfs/undefined-Sep-10-2025-07-30-55-2114-PM.png?width=670&height=371&name=undefined-Sep-10-2025-07-30-55-2114-PM.png) After uploading your document, click "**Next**" to continue with your account registration. After you have filled out all the required fields and, if applicable, submitted your license details, you will proceed to the checkout page. Once you reach the checkout page, you will see a confirmation message indicating that your coupon code has been successfully applied: ![](https://help.vetgirlontherun.com/hs-fs/hubfs/undefined-Sep-10-2025-07-30-54-2673-PM.png?width=670&height=330&name=undefined-Sep-10-2025-07-30-54-2673-PM.png) At the bottom of the page, the balance will display a zeroed out balance for the complimentary membership: ![](https://help.vetgirlontherun.com/hs-fs/hubfs/undefined-Sep-10-2025-07-30-53-8378-PM.png?width=663&height=568&name=undefined-Sep-10-2025-07-30-53-8378-PM.png) Click the "Place Order" button to continue.   On the following page, you will see a notification confirming your successful application for complimentary membership.  A member of the VETgirl team will review your submitted documentation and will contact you if additional information is necessary to verify your eligibility.
