# How do I apply for a Discounted VETgirl ELITE membership?

**Note:** Retired Veterinary Professionals, Recent Veterinary School Graduates, Veterinary Interns / Residents, Vet Techs / Nurses, & CSR / Receptionist / Veterinary Assistants qualify for our discounted ELITE membership.

### Applying as a New / Basic / ELITE Trial Member

If you don't have a VETgirl account yet, click the [**Join VETgirl**](https://vetgirlontherun.com/registration/?hsLang=en) button on the top right of the website:
Visit your VETgirl [Dashboard](https://vetgirlontherun.com/dashboard/?hsLang=en)
From your Dashboard, click on the "My Account" tab, and then choose "Membership" from the dropdown options.
If you are already a Basic or ELITE Trial member, click the "Upgrade" link from [Membership Page](https://vetgirlontherun.com/dashboard/account/my-membership/?hsLang=en):
On the registration page, select the **ELITE Single Membership Level:**

Enter your information:
> Note: *To be eligible for a discounted membership, you need to choose one of the eligible roles mentioned above.*
You will be prompted to upload documents for verification on the next page:
After uploading your document, click "**Next**" to continue with your account registration.
After you have filled out all the required fields and, if applicable, submitted your license details, you will proceed to the checkout page.
Once you reach the checkout page, you will see a confirmation message indicating that your coupon code has been successfully applied. Our team will review the documents you submitted within 72 hours. If your documentation meets the eligibility requirements, your discount will be confirmed and remain in effect.

When applying for your discounted membership, it's important to provide the required documentation.
#### **Retired Veterinary Professionals** (Discounted 20%)
- Social Security Benefit Verification Letter
- Veterinary License showing retired/inactive status
#### **Veterinary School Recent Graduates** (Discounted 30%)
***You must have graduated within the last 6 months to qualify***
- Picture of your diploma
- Picture of your graduation pamphlet
- Proof of your name listed on an official document or website of your veterinary school, etc.
#### **Veterinary Intern / Resident** (Discounted 30%)
- Scanned picture of hospital identification
- Proof of your name listed on an official document or website of hospital
- Signed document verifying your status by your intern/residency director
#### **Vet Tech / Nurse** (Discounted 30%)
- Scanned, dated picture of your employment identification
- Proof of your name listed on an official document or website of your hospital
- Signed document verifying your status by your employer
- Your current CVT license
#### **CSR / Receptionist / Veterinary Assistant** (Discounted 30%)
- Scanned, dated picture of your employment identification
- Proof of your name listed on an official document or website of your hospital
