Does my subscription auto-renew?
Yes! This takes the hassle out of renewal for you and ensures your access is uninterrupted.
How does the auto-renewal feature work?
Your account auto-renews annually on the date of your first purchase. If you purchased your subscription on 7/15/2025, your subscription renews on 7/15/2026.
Can I opt out of the auto-renewal feature?
Yes! If you purchased your subscription through the VETgirl website, go to your Dashboard and click on the "My Account" tab. From there, choose "Membership" from the dropdown menu.
From the Membership page, select the Cancel Subscription Renewal option:
If you purchased through the VETgirl vital™ iOS app, note that Apple manages all billing and subscription settings for memberships purchased through the app, so any cancellations need to be completed directly through your Apple account (Apple does not provide VETgirl—or any app developer—with the ability to cancel these subscriptions on your behalf).
To cancel your iPhone/iPad subscription:
- Open Settings on your iPhone/iPad
- Tap your name / Apple Account at the top
- Tap Subscriptions
- Select VETgirl / VETgirl vital™
- Tap Cancel Subscription
Can I get a refund if I cancel my subscription after it auto-renews?
Yes! If you purchased your subscription through the VETgirl website, please contact us within 30 days of purchase or renewal to be refunded. The refund will be processed excluding the transaction fee ($14.99 for payments <$300, or 4.9% for payments > $300).
If you purchased through the VETgirl vital™ iOS app, refunds are handled directly by Apple, as the merchant of record for all App Store subscriptions. That means VETgirl is not able to issue refunds from our side for charges billed through Apple.
To request a refund from Apple:
- Visit Apple’s refund portal: reportaproblem.apple.com
- Sign in with your Apple ID
- Select the VETgirl charge and submit a refund request
I have a complimentary ELITE membership, will my subscription auto-renew?
No, unless you are a military service member or veteran, your complimentary ELITE membership will not auto-renew after the expiration date. If you’re a full-time student, academic or faculty member and your complimentary access should be extended, please contact us with your updated documentation.
